Lake Erie Walleye Charter Fishing - Hot July Action!

Hey everyone. The walleye action on Lake Erie's Western Basin is still hot. Many charter boats including myself continue to take limits of walleye. Trolling has been the tactic for success. We have been running leads anywhere from 55-75 ft back using 40 jets and scorpion stinger spoons with speeds varying from 2.0-2.8 mph. Sweet Escape Charters has openings available for the month of July and August. I anticipate the action to stay the same with the numbers of fish present in the b-can area we have been fishing. The presence of numerous baitfish is incredible. Do not hesitate to give me a call (419-563-6439) if interested in catching some great eating walleye.

Hot! July walleye action on Lake Erie

This is some of the best walleye action for July we have seen on Lake Erie.  We are catching limits of walleye from 15" to 23".  Also catching numerous through-backs.  Many of us are getting limits before noon trolling anywhere from 6-8 miles off shore.  Got plenty of weekdays open for charters.  Give me a call, 419-563-6439, to be apart of the hottest action we have seen for the hot summer drought going on.

Walleye Charter on Lake Erie

Had a great weekend 5/12 & 5/13 of walleye fishing. Trolled both days near C-can and caught boat limit of 42 both days. Finished each day before 11 am. Walleye were great size. Many were 20-24 inch fish. Guessing cooler full of fished weighed over 100 lbs of walleye. Check out the images and call to book a trip aboard Sweet Escape Charters today.

Walleye charter fishing on Lake Erie

Had a tough weekend jig fishing for Lake Erie walleye.  The weather was not the greatest.  Saturday finished with 12 eyes fishing in 3 and 4 footers all day with a late start at 10 a.m.  Sunday finished with 11 eyes and fished in 4-6 footers until the wind made us head back to the dock. Both days had great crews that handled the waves great. Look forward to fishing with everyone again next year.
